What can we do to make production better?
Due to the intensive way of life, the daily changes in all segments, and particularly people’s desire to use existing natural resources, it is necessary to make serious plans and use natural resources sustainably. Sustainable practices in all human activities, based on responsible use of natural resources, are key for the preservation of the ecosystems’ diversity and functionality, which contribute to environmental conservation and a safer future for present and future generations.
That is why as a Core Group we decided to implement sustainable beekeeping practices, which we expect to be widely accepted and practiced for everyone’s benefit.
The Honey East Core Group is the only association in Macedonia with a developed education programme for basic sustainable beekeeping, which is verified and nationally approved. Everyone interested in beekeeping and everyone who loves nature can participate in the educational programme.
