I started keeping bees in 2017. I was born in 1967 in the village of Sasa, and currently I live in Makedonska Kamenica.

At a friend’s recommendation, I applied and was selected to attend a beekeeping course organised by the Nature Conservation Programme (NCP). I would like to express my gratitude to the educator in the training Vancho Kirovski, who was fully committed to teaching us how to start raising bees and apply sustainable beekeeping practices. These are my beginnings and the first opportunity I had to care for the most valuable creatures on the planet.

Currently I have four bee colonies, located in the village of Kostin Dol near Makedonska Kamenica, and as a member of the Honey East association I do sustainable beekeeping. There are no sources of pollution at the site, which is abundant in gorgeous meadows, black locust, pine, oak, etc. In the future I plan to dedicate myself more to beekeeping and increase the number of bee colonies. Even though I raise the bees with no additional support from my family, I have great support from the Honey East association, where I am an active member.
