I was born in 1966 in the village of Moshtica near Makedonska Kamenica.
I have been involved in beekeeping since 2002, when I started with only one honey bee colony, while today I have more than 50. The apiary is in the village of Moshtica, where I live, and I raise my bee colonies by myself. The training organised by the Nature Conservation Programme, which was particularly targeted at rural women, and my membership in the Honey East core group are an even greater motive and inspiration to advance my beekeeping. I hope that I will pass down my experience and knowledge to my children and that they would succeed me as beekeepers in the future.
I am particularly glad that my apiary was selected for the testing and promotion of biotechnical methods, which had very good results. Since then I continued applying both methods, queen caging and brood removal, without the use of damaging chemicals, so the honey produced in this manner is completely safe and of great quality.
I love bees and find great pleasure in the apiary. Bees are maybe the hardest working creatures in the world and are responsible for the beauty of our planet, which we all enjoy.
