Bananas with honey and nuts are delicious and nutritious.
- 40g butter
- 3-4 tablespoons honey
- 2 bananas, cut in half lengthwise
- ground nuts (preferably pecans) and ice cream
- Melt the butter and honey in a pan and stir until it becomes reddish in colour.
- Put the bananas in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes, turn them over from time to time until they are caramelized.
- Add rum and let it evaporate, then add the nuts.
- Serve them with ice cream.
